In March’s PU Monthly Report, development surged ahead in various areas, achieving significant progress. Teams focused on fixing bugs and making improvements in combat and AI behavior. They completed tasks like generating navigation meshes for planets and refining how ships behave. The Animation team continued to work on creature and vehicle animations, while the Art teams made advances in ship designs and character outfits, improving the game’s overall look.
Core Gameplay worked on fine-tuning mechanics like recoil and reload, as well as preparing for base building and improving EVA functionality. The Economy teams rebalanced commodities and mission rewards, while the Graphics, VFX Programming & Planet Tech departments tackled performance issues and advanced water simulation and global illumination. Mission Design introduced new mission types, and Narrative work aimed to enrich the game’s universe. Online Technology made progress with backend refactoring and anti-cheat optimization, while UI and VFX teams made significant strides in enhancing player interfaces and visual effects.
